Lobby Days marks a unique opportunity to humanize our legislative priorities with our state lawmakers. The League’s membership has continued to grow over the past year and we’re excited to show that off in the halls our state capitol.

Haven’t been to one of our Lobby Days before? Don’t fret! We provide attendees with onsite to be an effective advocate.

  • Day 1 is filled with a comprehensive trainings that include updates on the current climate of the Florida legislature, our DEI efforts, lobbying techniques and in-depth information regarding our 2020 legislative priorities. The day is capped off with an evening awards reception. A virtual offering of this day’s trainings has been made available at a reduced rate for those who are unable to join us Tallahassee.
  • Day 2 is where the work really happens! Our members descend upon the halls of the state capitol to meet with legislators regarding our legislative priorities, pop into committee meetings and watch each chamber with an eagle-eye as they conduct business and pass legislation.

The League of Women Voters of Florida Education Fund works to register voters, provide voters with election information through voter guides as well as candidate forums and debates.
