League of Women Voters of Florida Demands Dark Money Group Disclose its Donors

ORLANDO, Fla. – Today the League of Women Voters of Florida sent the attached letter demanding that the leader of a dark money political group that has raised $9 million in anonymous donations come clean with the people of Florida and disclose the sources of its funding.

The group, Keep Our Constitution Clean, PAC, which is running the campaign in support of Amendment Number 4, is entirely bankrolled by Keep Our Constitution Clean, Inc., an organization controlled by the same directors at the same business address, which does not disclose who contributed the $9 million it has spent in support of Amendment Number 4.

This amendment would make it almost impossible for voters to enact future amendments through the citizen petition initiative process.

The League of Women Voters of Florida opposes Amendment Number 4 on the 2020 ballot.
