Following a 25-year career as a senior leader in federal service, Anna made Florida home in 2019. She joined the League in 2020 to support voter rights and education. Ms. Alvarez Boyd has a passion for developing the next generation of leaders and believes that educating future leaders on civic engagement is essential.

Anna most recently held the position of Senior Associate Director at the Federal Reserve Board, where she was responsible for directing consumer and community development research and public outreach. Anna is an executive leadership coach and is the founder of Executive Horizons LLC. She was named a Top Coach in Orlando by Influence Digest because of her strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Ms. Alvarez Boyd expanded her impact to the next generation of leaders through her non-profit, FairWays to Leadership. Started in central Florida in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the racial reckoning in the summer of 2020, the innovative program provides leadership training to women and students of color through golf.

Anna is a native of San Francisco, California, and a graduate of San Francisco State University. She is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Transformational Leadership Coaching program and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
