Kelly Williams, Esq.

Kelly Williams is a member of the Palm Beach County LWV, Co-Chair of the Reinstatement of Voting Rights Steering Committee and a a member of the Board of Directors of the LWVFL.  She is a member of the Florida Bar and an emeritus member of the New York Bar.  Kelly is the former general counsel and board secretary of the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law.  She began her career at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York, and worked at Union Bank of Switzerland in the office of the general counsel.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors of SCO Family of Services, Inc., New York State’s largest human services organization, which serves 60,000 children and families each year.  She previously served as Board chair of that organization and now chairs the SCO Foundation, which manages $60 million in assets to support SCO’s operations.   She also served on the Government Ethics Committee of the Bar Association of New York City, and the Board of the Brennan Center Strategic Fund, Inc.  Kelly has three children and loves gardening in Florida, bird watching, tennis and golf.  She is a graduate of Tufts University and New York University School of Law.
