Leah brings more than 20 years of career and volunteer experience in membership/patient associations, non-profit organizations, healthcare, government, media, and hospitality.
Leah plans to guide the League in a way that fosters teamwork, efficiency and effectiveness. Leah’s strong passion for defending democracy will suit the League’s statewide operation well. Leah’s commitment to the League has been exemplified in her role as Voter Services Chairperson for the League of Women Voters Orange County (LWVOC). Leah has served in the volunteer role since 2017, leading the local chapter’s voter services team through a midterm and gubernatorial election cycle, a presidential election cycle and a number of municipal elections. She has also sat on the LWVOC Board of Directors.
Leah’s most recent career highlights include serving as the Director of Development and Strategic Marketing for the Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida and as the Chief Innovator/Owner of the Trusted Source Consulting, LLC. In her position with the Hemophilia Foundation, Leah was responsible for managing annual fundraising events, including budget management, marketing, and logistics, creating diverse streams of revenue and advocacy outreach. In her role with Trusted Source Consulting Leah provided executive management services to non-profit organizations, professional associations, and small businesses. Leah has also held management roles at membership organizations such as the Florida Nurses Association, Orlando Regional Realtor® Association, and the Florida Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
Leah believes that personal relationships are the key to a successful life – both professionally and personally. She loves to connect people – when it makes sense – so that everyone can succeed. In her spare time, Leah likes to practice yoga, meditate, spend time with family and friends, take photos, support Orlando arts, play the ukulele, and read. She is excited about her new role with the League and the opportunity to serve members and make a positive impact in the lives of Florida citizens.
