Pat was born in Daytona Beach and raised in Florida. She graduated from Mainland High School, attended Eckerd College and lived in New England during the 1970’s. Pat is widowed with one daughter and three grandchildren who live in Colorado.
Pat’s professional background was as a real estate broker salesman in Daytona Beach for eleven years prior to working for the local school district. She held the position of Executive Director of Facilities for 15 years leading the facilities division in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of over 10 million square feet. She supervised a staff of 335 and oversaw construction of over $700 million in school renovations and new construction. Pat Retired in 2009 after 22 years with Volusia County Schools.
Pat has been a member of the League of Women Voters of Volusia County since 1980 and previously served as a member of the state board for the LWV of Florida from 2010 to 2018.
Pat has also served on the Volusia County Charter Review Committee in 2006, reappointed in 2016, served on the Daytona Beach Historic Preservation Board in 2010-14, and was a member of the Daytona Beach Planning Board 2013-16. Pat’s hobbies include reading, gardening, dancing and traveling – and, of course, grandchildren!
